Reasons to consider it

  • Pricing scales with how many prospects you contact, not seats — unlimited team members on the base plan
  • The trial is genuinely free: 14 days or 100 cold emails, no card
  • G2 reviewers rate it 4.5 from 105 reviews

Reasons to look elsewhere

  • Trustpilot tells a very different story: 2.5 from 34 reviews, 62% of them one-star
  • The recurring complaints are about billing: charges after cancellation, difficulty downgrading, refused refunds
  • The add-on list is long — LinkedIn, extra warm-ups, API access and mailbox slots all cost extra, so the real bill can sit well above the base price

What the review scores say

Woodpecker holds 4.5 out of 5 on G2 from 105 reviews, and 2.5 out of 5 on Trustpilot from 34 reviews.

This is a two-point gap: 4.5 on G2 from 105 verified business users against 2.5 on Trustpilot from 34 reviews, 62% of them one-star. The Trustpilot complaints are almost all about billing — charges after cancellation and refused refunds — not the software itself. If you try it, note your renewal date and cancel in writing.

What we cannot tell you

How Woodpecker feels after a month of real use. Whether support actually answers when something breaks. Whether the workflow fits your specific case. Those need an account and real use, and we have not done that. Anyone publishing those answers without doing the work is guessing, and you deserve to know which is which.

Where it sits against the others

If Woodpecker is not the fit, these are worth a look:

  • Waalaxy — no free plan, paid from €19/user/mo (Pro, monthly — yearly billing halves every plan)
