We have not used CallHippo. There is no verdict on this page, no score, and no opinion about how it feels to work in — because we would be making that up. What we do instead.

Source: callhippo.com/pricing. Prices are US list prices in USD, read from each vendor pricing page on the date above. Vendors localise pricing by country — we saw GetResponse quote in Vietnamese dong from a Vietnamese connection — so what you see may differ. Always confirm on the vendor page before buying.

Reasons to consider it

  • You need virtual US or Canadian numbers for a small sales or support team on a budget
  • The $0 entry plan and 10-day trial without a card make it cheap to test properly
  • IVR, call recording and routing are included on mid plans, not sold as add-ons

Reasons to look elsewhere

  • Trustpilot is rough: 2.7 from 682 reviews, centred on support response times and billing disputes
  • One reviewer reported number availability advertised for countries that were not actually offered — verify your target country inside the trial before paying
  • Some reviewers report muffled audio and lag under load

What the review scores say

CallHippo holds 4.4 out of 5 on G2 from 412 reviews, and 2.7 out of 5 on Trustpilot from 682 reviews.

The gap is wide: 4.4 on G2 from 412 reviews against 2.7 on Trustpilot from 682. The Trustpilot complaints are mostly about billing and support rather than the dialler itself.

What we cannot tell you

How CallHippo feels after a month of real use. Whether support actually answers when something breaks. Whether the workflow fits your specific case. Those need an account and real use, and we have not done that. Anyone publishing those answers without doing the work is guessing, and you deserve to know which is which.

We have not compared this against rivals yet

CallHippo is the first product we have documented in business phone systems. A single product is not a comparison, so there is no category page for it yet — we will build one once we have read the pricing pages of its main competitors and can put them side by side on the same facts.
